Kinerase is a non-retinoid, non-glycolic advanced skin care program
Kinerase's active ingredient, furfuryladenine, is found naturally in plants, and regulates the various aspects of plant growth. Cut leaves dipped in a solution containing furfuryladenine will remain green, while untreated leaves turn brown. Studies have shown furfuryladenine to have a similar effect on human skin cells, helping slow and reverse alterations that naturally occur in the cell-aging process. This compound is a powerful antioxidant, which may contribute to its anti-aging effects.
The Kinerase line of skin care products provide gentle moisturization and can be used for sensitive skin, fragile skin, retinoid intolerance and rosacea, eczema or dermatitis. The Kinerase skin care products do not cause sun sensitivity, nor does it contain any skin care acids (i.e., Glycolic, Salicylic, etc.)
Improving the Skin's Natural Barrier Function
The Kinerase line of skin care products reduce trans-epidermal water loss by improving the skin's barrier function, which in turn enhances the skin's ability to retain moisture. An independent clinical study proved that after just 12 weeks of using Kinerase, skin was able to retain 15% more moisture. After 24 weeks, Kinerase helped improve moisture retention by 25%. A number of clinical studies have demonstrated improvement in skin roughness, mottled hyperpigmentation and fine wrinkles. Another benefit is that Kinerase can be used to enhance results in patients who may have reached a plateau with their current skin care regimens, especially when used as an additional supplement.
Even though the Kinerase line of skin care products does not cause photosensitivity (sensitivity to the sun), avoiding sun exposure is highly recommended for those with sun damaged skin and for those who want to prevent future damage. Sunscreens and makeup can be applied immediately after you apply Kinerase. Use a sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 15 on a daily basis.
