A Message from Dr. Pacik:

It has been a joy being involved with my augmentation mammaplasty patients. Together with my staff, we become a momentary part of their lives, their pre-op fears and concerns, their reasons for desiring this surgery, and then their excitement after the surgery. We have listened to many stories, some simple, and some that touched us for years to come.

The "average" patient desiring breast enlargement simply wants to look better and feel more feminine. Most commonly, they want to improve their feminine self image and look better in clothing. About one-third of our patients have sexual concerns ranging from mild concerns to more severe compromise. After the surgery, patients tell us how much better they feel about themselves in many different ways. The joy that we have helping these patients, the meaning that this creates for our own lives, is a function of their excitement after the surgery.

Peter T. Pacik, MD, FACS
