Testimonial
For many years, especially after having a child, I had felt very self-conscience about my lack of anything resembling a bust. I relied on padded bras to make me feel and look more feminine in clothes. Finally, after a few years of consideration and research, I decided to look into breast augmentation.
I had heard indirectly of someone I know that was very happy with Dr. Pacik after her procedure, and I liked what I had read on his web site regarding his preferences, technique and post-op pain control, so I came in for a consult. Dr. Pacik was warm, professional and thorough, and I always left the office feeling better than when I walked in. I must also add that all of his staff -- nurses, secretaries were also great.
From the pre-op phase to the actual day of surgery and afterwards, everything went better than I had imagined, and I am very happy with my choice. I would highly recommend Dr. Pacik and his Plastic Surgery Center to anyone who is looking to make a positive change in his or her life. Thank you Dr. Pacik and staff!

| This patient presents with pre-operative breast hang. In borderline situations like this, it it always a somewhat more difficult decision whether or not to do a breast lift. The pros and cons of a breast lift are thoroughly discussed with the patient and the patient herself helps with the decision. In this patient, a breast lift was not done, and the slight lowering of the breast fold helped give a better balance to the end result. A breast lift can always be done at a later date, if needed. |

| 390cc and 410 breast implants |
| 400cc breast implants are large implants. Most of the following patients have a bra size of 36 or 38 or larger, and this larger chest circumference together with adequate measurements taken during the consultation, make it possible to use these larger implants. It would be very difficult to get a satisfactory result in a patient with a 30, 32 or 34 inch bra size using these larger breast implants. For patients doing research on the internet, a simple photo as shown below, without the essential information, is more confusing than helpful. This is exactly why we try to provide as much detailed information as possible. |

| 420cc and 450cc breast implants |
Although we have spent a career trying to make breasts look natural, we are now seeing more younger patients who want to look "fake". This fake look is prevalent in many of the magazines, and has become the standard for some of our patients. Oversized implants for the chest measurements often show the circular rim of the implants, and can be spotted as fake from across the room. Nevertheless, it is what some patients desire and they seem to be very happy with their postoperative results.
This patient lost 10 lbs. and lost her breast volume. Before the weight loss, her bra size was 34C. With her augmentation mammaplasty, she desired to look "fake" with significant breast projection. She desires this appearance in swimsuits and clothing. Post-op, this patient loves the way she looks in tank tops and in bathing suits. It is "exactly what I wanted." |

| 550cc breast implants |
Women who have a larger frame, have concerns when their small breasts are out of proportion to their large abdomen. These individuals generally require larger implants to get their bodies into proper proportion. Weight loss is often difficult, and they complain that they lose their weight in their breasts!
This 33-year-old patient is 5'3" and had a pre-op weight of 185 lbs. Her sisters are all large breasted, her husband is a "boob man" so this patient lost out on all counts. Multiple weight loss programs were to no avail. In addition, she has a "constricted breast deformity," worse on the right, showing a narrowed base with hang. Wide internal releases, lowering of the breast fold and 550cc submuscular implants restored this patient's self-image and happiness. |
